Nova Scotian Novels

It can be difficult to find books that reflect what life is like in our tiny part of the world, as most teen fiction is written by American authors with American settings. While they are not as well-known as Suzanne Collins or Stephenie Meyer, there are a number of Nova Scotia writers who have penned realistic and historical fiction that reflects what life is like in our province. On display in the library this month is a selection of books written by Nova Scotian authors. I encourage you to check out one of these home-grown titles:
